As the Lead UX/UI Designer, my primary responsibilities loop around customer research, persona development, feature design, wireframing, prototyping and user testing. Facilitated design thinking and human centered design methodologies while integrating with Lean UX best practices within a highly agile development environment. Defined dev frameworks for implementation which incorporates UED, Engineering, and Project Management teams. Development of high fidelity HTML5 prototoypes. Creation of custom internal living style guides, ux stencils, and pattern libraries. Development of interaction and functional specifications as well as product requirement documentation. Established the visual language of the product. Developed motion studies for key product features and interactions. Worked closely with all teams to ensure development of the best products for our beta customers as well as aligning with business objectives for key stakeholders.
The goal of this project was to redesign the San Francisco Symphony website. As a group project,
we executed a full scale User Experience, Web Development, and User Interface assignment. The process of the SFS project included wireframes, paper, html, and mobile prototypes, screenshots, two rounds of user/usability testing, site architecture, design, and development. Feel free to take a look at the finished site.
For this project, the objective was to design a responsive site for Dignity Health Philanthropy 2013 Online Annual Report. The aspects of the project included: A Letter from the President of the Philanthropy Foundation, video and photography media stories of donors and patients, and an Interactive Map with financial summaries for each foundation. Responsive design was also a key component for the project in order to adapt to all devices and resolutions. My role was lead designer for this project and the examples show my original design explorations to the final execution. Feel free to check out the live 2013 Online Annual Report below.
The inital goal of this project was to develop a wayfinding system for a healthcare facility. For this project, I applied research obtained from urban planning and wayfinding principles such as environmental design, nodes, sensory feedback, alternative/limited navigation, and accessibility considerations. For this ux mobile process, I expanded on interaction design, as well as the three main mobile features/processes which include: checking symptoms, learning about procedures and appointment details, and scheduling appointments modules. As a personal design goal, I also aim to exhibit a user-centered method which incorporates human behavior, ergonomics, and digitally translated affordances. Please contact me for more information.
